I am Chang, a Ph.D. student in the CS department at UIUC. I am now conducting research under the guidance of Prof. Svetlana Lazebnik and Prof. Alexander Schwing. Before that, I earned my M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UIUC and my B.S. degree from Sun Yat-sen University, where I worked with Prof. Dong Zhang.

My research interests lie in computer vision and generative models. My earlier work centers on controllable image generation and manipulation with diffusion models, with a focus on model personalization and fine-grained, disentangled control. More recently, I have been working on multimodal generation, and I am also broadly interested in unified models. My research is generously supported by the Amazon AI PhD Fellowship.
